Dental Implants: The Comfortable Solution

August 29, 2016

Hello and welcome to another edition of the New Albany Implants blog!

It is bad enough to lose teeth as an adult. Regardless of whether it happens fast in an accident, or over time as the result of untreated disease or decay, you can bet that it will be traumatic, unhealthy, and uncomfortable.

But when you get a lackluster solution to the problem, you won’t feel much better.

Take dentures, for example.

Have your dentures ever let you down?

Don’t get us wrong, they serve a purpose and work well enough for certain individuals. But dentures are known to cause public embarrassment and private dismay as they slip and slide around and fail to give you the confidence, appearance, and bite force you need to live a happy normal life.

If you are tired of the pain, discomfort, hassle, shame, and agony associated with dentures and lost teeth, there is some good news for you: we can help turn things around with one of our dental implant procedures.

We’ve changed the lives of many Indiana residents and folks from far away with our innovative approach to restorative dentistry. And now we are ready to change yours. So, keep reading to learn more, and then be sure to get in-touch with our New Albany, IN dentist’s office to schedule your complimentary consultation. Since it costs nothing to get started, you’ve got nothing to lose, and everything to gain!

The Days Of Dentures

No matter what they were fashioned from, dentures have always been something you insert into your mouth and expect to stay in place without any kind of anchor whatsoever.

It doesn’t take a genius to realize that this is a losing proposition.

Sure, dentures have improved over the centuries. Modern dentures are supposed to form a suction seal with your palate and gum arches to give make them more comfortable and reliable. It might actually work at first, but it doesn’t take long before the usual hassles set in. Maybe you can relate.

Plus, if you are a denture wearer, your bathroom cabinet is likely full of special cleaning supplies, soaking cups, cases, and other cumbersome accessories for your artificial teeth.

But because they are notoriously hard to keep clean, denture patients are way more likely to suffer from respiratory infections like MRSA and pneumonia, along with other bacterial illnesses that receive easy access to your body through your mouth.

Who wants to live in fear of social settings, or in constant discomfort, or often fall into poor health?

You deserve better than that, and we can change your fate with dental implants!

Dental Implants Provide A Better Way To Go

Here’s how it works: your dental implant will be a screw roughly the size of a natural tooth root, that is inserted into your jaw.

It will be left to heal for a number of weeks, but once you receive your final restoration (a crown or other device) your dental implant will act almost exactly like a natural tooth.

That means you get the stability, reliability, durability and support that a regular tooth would give without any of the hassle of dentures.

What’s more, dental implants are able to be used to replace a single tooth, partial dentures, or even your complete dentures.

Make It Happen!

If you are ready to move forward, we can custom design an implant procedure to meet your unique needs. To make it happen, call our New Albany office at 888-469-3982 or contact us online to schedule your free consultation!
