Take the Right Path Toward Your New Albany Implants

Did you get a chance to read our last blog on implant solutions that might be right for you? If not, you can read it here.

There’s a lot to consider when you’re making the big decision for a new set of teeth that will totally transform your smile! If you’re thinking about getting implants, you might feel overwhelmed about taking the leap, especially when you have things like costs to worry about.

That’s why we offer a unique session to help you make the best decision. Ultimately, it is your decision, but there are a lot of ways we can help you in a convenient, one-day visit that we call our Dental Implant Roadmap.

What’s a Dental Implant Roadmap?

This session is something you won’t find anywhere else. It’s designed with you, the patient, in mind so that together we can explore all of your implant options before you invest in your new smile! It’s just one of the reasons that many people in the Louisville area and beyond choose us as their implant dentist!

How Does It Work?

Looking at Your CAT Scan Images
First, Dr. Receveur will do a thorough exam of your mouth. He’ll look at your teeth and take images using our Galileos 3D CAT scanner. This technology provides extremely accurate, detailed images of your mouth and your teeth in only seconds and with much less radiation than you’d receive with another CAT scanner. Plus, it’s in our office, so you don’t have to go anywhere else to help you determine if implants are the solution you need!

We’ll use your digital CAT scan images to help us understand the condition of your mouth so that we can first determine whether you’re a good candidate for implants, and if so, move forward with the planning process with a high level of accuracy.

Based on the images from your CAT scan, Dr. Receveur will be able to decide what kind of implants might be your best , most successful option depending on the condition of your mouth. For example, if he can see that you don’t have enough bone density, you may still be able to get implants but would have the best results from mini implants.

Considering Your Concerns, Your Needs, and Your Health
If there is more than one good option for you, Dr. Receveur will also explain the pros and cons of each. For example, All-in-One is a long-lasting implant option, while removable mini implants require you to come in once every 12-18 months to replace parts.

You need to know that this session isn’t designed just for us to tell you what WE think your best option is. We want to know the most important reasons you have for restoring your smile, and whether there are any roadblocks to getting it, like costs.

If you’re on a budget and are worried about how much your implants will cost, we can talk about how much each type of implant costs and also the payment options our office can offer you.

Another thing we’ll talk about during our session is your health. If your health is compromised—if you have diabetes that you can’t keep under control, or if you’re a heavy smoker, for example—then you’re more at risk for problems during the procedure, while you’re healing, and even with down-the-road complications. Implants have an incredibly high success rate at more than 95 percent, but certain conditions like these can affect your success.

Reducing Your Fears
One of the best things about this visit is that we’ll get to know each other before your implant placement even starts. You’ll see that we’re a friendly, caring team that is not here to judge you but only to help you get the smile you deserve! This can help reduce any fears you may have about seeing the dentist and also about the actual procedure.

We can also talk about sedation options that you may want during your implant placement. These can calm you down and relax you while we place your implants. Some can even put you to sleep so that by the time we’re done, you’ve slept pain free though the whole procedure and can walk out with a grin on your face!

How Much Does It Cost?

Our Dental Implant Roadmap is a unique, personalized, no-obligation session with Dr. Receveur that also takes into consideration CAT scan costs. Even though the costs would total more than $400 after all is said and done, we will charge you just $287 for the entire session and CAT scan. This is a small investment for the long-term investment you’ll receive with your new smile!
