How to Get a New Smile In One Day

May 13, 2015

Are you unhappy with your smile? Do missing or unhealthy teeth have you covering your mouth in public? Are you having difficulty eating or talking because of poor dental health?

What’s stopping you from getting your teeth replaced with dental implants?

If you are putting off dental implants because you don’t have the time to invest in a lengthy, ongoing procedure, or you are unwilling to spend a few of weeks, maybe even months while implants heal and bond to your bone, then New Albany Implants has the solution for you.

Our One Day Smile Solution can have you leaving our Southern Indiana office with a brand new smile in one visit.

How is that possible? Let’s find out.

Equipment

First of all, it is important to have the equipment necessary to perform the procedure. Most dentist have to send you to a nearby hospital or lab to get a 3D CAT scan, but not us. At New Albany Implants, we have our own in-house 3D CAT scan machine, so we can get a clear and accurate image of your teeth without sending you out of our office. This means we will usually be able to recommend a course of action for you on your first visit.

This is just one of the investments we make in you at New Albany Implants. We know your time is precious, so we don’t want to waste it sending you all over Southern Indiana for services. We provide them here!

Dental Sedation

New Albany Implants is committed to painfree dentistry. We know that some people avoid our office because they have a misconception about the pain associated with dental work. The truth of the matter is, dental implants don’t have to hurt.

We practice dental sedation to make sure you are relaxed and comfortable during your procedure. If you are deeply afraid of the dentist, then IV sedation may be the best choice for you because it put you to sleep. You will feel nothing, and you will not be awakened until the procedure is over.

The added benefit to dental sedation is that it allows us to perform long, involved procedures in one sitting. This is how we can get out out of our office with a new smile in one day.

Implants

While you are under sedation, we will surgically place small rods, usually titanium, into your jawbone. These rods will bond with the bone as it heals, so that they will eventually become the new roots to your smile.

Temporary Smile

It can take some time for your mouth to heal for the implants to take hold, sometimes as long as a couple of months, but don’t worry, we won’t let you leave without a smile. After we have placed the implants, we will fit your mouth with a temporary set of replacement teeth. Many patients are so satisfied with the look and feel of the temporary smile that they can’t believe they are not permanent.

After receiving some instructions on how to care for your implants while they heal, you will be sent on your way, with a brand new smile spread across your face. All in just one day!

Permanent Smile

While your implants are healing, your permanent custom smile will be built and prepared to be placed on the secure implants. We may have to make some adjustment to ensure the new teeth look and feel right. For the most part, these adjustments can be done right then and there, so that you will have a brand new smile, custom built and professionally installed.

Come See Us

There is no reason to put off getting dental implants to repair your smile. At New Albany Implants, we understand that a long, timely procedure is out of the question for many of our patients. That is why we provide the One Day Smile Solution!
