Letters From Patients Like You

We get a lot of emails from the contact us page here on our website, and a lot of them ask some of the same questions. Today we want to take the time to answer a few letters from patients just like you – hopefully you’ll get some answers to questions you have about your dental care!

As always, never hesitate to contact New Albany Implants with any questions you have about your dental care. We’re here to make sure that your care goes smoothly and you get exactly what you want.

Sedation Dentistry: How Safe Is It?

Is dental anesthesia safe? I’ve heard that the drugs you use can have serious health effects. I’m scared of the dentist and am interested in sedation dentistry but I’m nervous about the risks.

                    – St Matthews, KY

If you’ve ever been worried about the drugs used for our IV or general anesthesia solutions we can tell you with certainty that they are safe when used by a professional. Our team is trained to closely monitor your vitals to ensure your experience is safe and easy.

We’re also certified to provide general anesthesia without the need for an outside anesthetist. You’ll be in the hands of someone you know and trust from start to finish!

Is It Hard To Heal After Implants?

I wear partial dentures and want to replace them with implants. I’ve had surgical procedures in the past that have been hard to heal from. Is dental implant surgery recovery difficult? I don’t want to spend months trying to heal.

                    – Clarksville, IN

Healing after surgery can be a big concern for patients, but dental implants are remarkably easy to deal with. Many of our patients never even take the pain pill prescription we provide and are at work the very next day.

It’s normal to have some discomfort for a few days following the procedure, but you’ll be surprised how minimal it is and how fast it goes away. Your implants are mostly anchored into bone and only the smallest bit of soft tissue is affected by placement.

Can I Afford Dental Implants?

I’ve heard that implants are really expensive. I don’t know if I can afford the costs, and I don’t think my insurance is going to completely cover it either. Are implants worth it?

                    – Louisville, KY

It’s true that implants cost a lot of money, especially some of the higher-end full mouth options that are available. But don’t worry: we’ll make your costs clear and paying for your implants easy. Our dental implant roadmap is the first step in getting any implant care at our New Albany office. It will include all your treatment options and itemized costs for every single thing. You won’t be in the dark about any aspect of your care and will know exactly what you’ll need to pay.

We also offer several ways to finance your procedure, from interest-free financing with us to CareCredit and Springstone payment options that you can easily apply from at our office. We’ll make it happen!

All-In-One-Place Care

The last time I had a major dental procedure I had to schedule appointments with multiple experts at different locations. I don’t want to do that this time. It was stressful, I had to find places I’d never been, and I was dealing with people I didn’t know!

                    – Sellersburg, IN

We understand how that feels and we don’t like it either! Your dental care at New Albany Implants will all be performed in our office by our staff. You won’t have to worry about going from place to place finding care – we do it all in one place!

We offer all your treatment needs under one roof not only because that’s what you need, but because that’s what you deserve. Our team of highly trained dental professionals are able to use the most state-of-the-art technology to get you results that would normally take a trip to the hospital, but not with us. From start to finish we’ll take care of all your needs.

That’s Not All We Do!

We love being able to offer our patients so many treatment options, and these questions hardly scratch the surface of what we’re able to answer for you. Never hesitate to contact us with any questions about your dental care – we believe that each patient should know exactly what they’re going to experience.
