Graftless Implants Save Time & Smiles

You shouldn’t have to wait any longer than necessary for your new smile.

You won’t have to if you come to New Albany Implants, where we offer graftless implants. We’ll explain what a bone graft is in a moment and why it can delay you getting what you really want — new teeth.

Dr. Ron Receveur has studied with internationally-known experts in implantology. Through years of training and decades of experience, he has mastered the art of placing implants without the need for a bone graft.

You can learn more about this and our One Day Smile Solution™ by setting up a consultation at our New Albany, IN dental office. Call (812) 945-7645 today.

What Happens When You Lose Your Teeth

Tooth loss affects people in a number of ways.

On an emotional level, it can affect your self-confidence. You may feel uncomfortable smiling, speaking, or eating in front of other people. You may worry that they will judge you on what’s missing from your smile.

Having missing teeth also can change how you speak. You may not be able to pronounce certain words like you once did. This too can make you hesitant to speak in social and professional situations.

Physically, losing your teeth also affects what you are able to eat. When you are missing teeth, taking a bite of hard or crunchy foods can be difficult or even impossible. So can chewing things like beef or chicken.

This can cause you to start avoiding the foods that you love. That can make you hesitant to join friends for dinner at a new restaurant or leave you feeling anxious about approaching the food at family gatherings.

Tooth loss also can cause wrinkles to form on your face and around your mouth. The reason for that is something you can’t see directly. When you lose your teeth, one of the consequences is bone loss in your jaw.

As your jaw shrinks, it changes the shape of your face, which is why your mouth can begin to appear as if it pulling inward.

What a Bone Graft Does

Before you lost your teeth, your roots anchored your healthy teeth in your jaw. This held your teeth stable, and it allowed you to generate the force to eat comfortably. This is why you could eat anything you wanted when you had all your healthy teeth.

By doing this, you also helped to maintain the health your jaw. The pressure from biting and chewing stimulates the bone. Traditional dentures rest over your gums. They are not connected to your jawbone. This is why many people who have them still have trouble eating certain foods. It’s also why bone loss can continue after someone gets dentures.

Without the connection to your jawbone, that bone will get smaller over time. Many doctors will recommend a bone graft to a patient who has been without teeth or with traditional dentures for an extended time.

Getting a bone graft adds another expense to your teeth replacement process. It also adds time, since you may need months to recover from the procedure before you can get your new teeth.

But is this really necessary?

A Better Solution

Dr. Ron has been placing dental implants for more than 35 years. Today, he places more than 500 implants every year without bone grafts.

How is this possible? Well, teeth replacement has been a personal issue for Dr. Ron since before he entered dental school. He was born with a partial cleft palate, which left him with a congenitally missing tooth.

During his early life, he tried a variety of teeth replacement options.

Upon learning about dental implants, he has dedicated his career to providing the best possible teeth replacements for his patients. This includes learning from the best implantologists in the world so he could improve his own techniques and procedures.

Dr. Ron spared no expense to get the best training possible for the sake of his patients. That included traveling to Lisbon, Portugal, to study at the Malo Clinic. This clinic was started by Dr. Paulo Malo, who innovated the All-On-4™ procedure. This process requires just four implants to provides maximum support and stability for replacement teeth.

Dr. Ron combined the knowledge he gained from Dr. Malo and others with his own personal experience placing thousands of implants to develop the One Day Smile Solution™. With this procedure, you can get your implants — without a bone graft — and a set of replacement teeth in a single day at our office.

With our IV sedation, Dr. Ron can complete this process painlessly. And since you don’t need a bone graft, you can start enjoying your new teeth much, much sooner.

Reliable Service for Your New Smile

Conservatively, we can say that Dr. Ron has placed thousands of implants in his career. His success rate with those implants is higher than 98 percent. It’s why we can confidently offer a lifetime warranty for any implants placed at our practice.

You don’t want to live without teeth any longer. You shouldn’t have to wait months to feel good about sharing your smile again. You want to be able to eat the foods that you love. You want to enjoy dining out again, too.
