Getting Dental Implants Doesn’t Mean Months Without Teeth

We see a lot of dental implant patients at New Albany Implants. After all, our speciality is right in our name! We’ve had patients from all over the midwest come to see us because they know we can get them the results they want and need without the hassle. And one of the biggest hassles is going months without teeth while you wait for implants to heal.

Modern dental implant technology has gone far beyond the point of requiring you to wait to get a new smile. With our one day smile solution we can have you in a new set of teeth in a single appointment! Sound too good to be true? It’s not – it’s the future of dental implant care.

How Do Dental Implants Work In Just A Day?

If you’ve given any thought to getting dental implants you’ve probably spent time researching them online. You probably know the basics: implants are small titanium screws that are placed in your jaw, and once healed they’re as tough as natural teeth.

But beyond that things get a bit fuzzy – there are all sorts of different ways to place and restore implants, and not all of them are one day systems. Ours are, which is especially great for patients looking to get rid of their dentures and replace them with permanent, reliable teeth.

Same day implant placement all boils down to the planning process. At first glance you might find it hard to believe that we can place implants and a full mouth bridge in a single visit, but when you’re able to make a 3D digital image of your jaw it becomes a lot easier to get things so perfect that your implants can bear a load immediately after the procedure.

We use a Galileos 3D CAT scan at our New Albany office. This amazing piece of dental technology produces a fully 3D manipulable model of your face, teeth, bones – even your veins and nerves show up in it! We use this scan to plan your implant placement so precisely that there’s no concern about them moving, shifting, or hurting you after they’re placed.

What About The Teeth?

Let’s say you come to us for a One Day Smile Solution procedure. This involves the placement of four dental implants per arch that attach to a full mouth bridge. The bridge we place is a temporary one that you wear while healing, but don’t let “temporary” fool you – they look fantastic.

A lot of our patients remark at the quality of their temporary bridge, and many assume that what they’re sporting is the final product. In reality you wear the temp for eight to twelve weeks while you heal. We’ll create a completely custom one for you at that time, and it will look even more amazing.

Both your temporary and permanent bridges will perfectly mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth – you don’t need to be worried. All that in just a single day of treatment – it’s truly incredible!

From Bad Teeth To A Perfect Smile

It’s not uncommon for someone to come to us with a set of natural teeth that are starting to give out. Maybe they wear a partial denture, or perhaps they’ve been suffering with just a few remaining teeth for years. These patients often want a full mouth solution, like the One Day Smile Solution, but are worried that their remaining teeth are going to be a problem. Not at New Albany Implants.

Another beautiful part of the one day smile solution is that it’s more than just implants and teeth in a single visit – it’s tooth extraction, implants, and teeth in a single visit. You’ll walk into our office with whatever unhealthy teeth you have left and walk out with a beautiful new smile – it’s as simple as that.

Don’t Let Fear Force You Away

All of that oral surgery can sound like a lot for a single visit, and typically it would be. We make getting a one day smile simple by offering a variety of sedation options. For longer, more intense appointments we recommend using IV sedation or general anesthesia, both of which are offered at our New Albany office. You can simply go to sleep and wake up with a new set of teeth – you’ll feel like a new person!

The only thing you have to do at this point is get more information on which implant option is best for your needs, and we can help you find that out. Give us a call today at (812) 945-7645 or request an appointment online. We look forward to sharing your future smile with you!
