When our leader, Dr. Ron, decided to become an expert in the field of dental implants, he searched out the world’s best to study with. As such, his training and experience is unmatched in this part of the country.
We have also invested heavily in the sort of high-tech tools and modern dental technology that Dr. Ron can utilize to place a variety of implant styles. Plus, unlike most other offices, around here we have the capabilities to send you home with new teeth in just one visit to our office.

Comfort Matters
The other thing that you need to know about us is that we make restorative dentistry an easy and comfortable experience EVERY time. Not only is Dr. Receveur an expert in placing dental implants, he also is well-versed in administering various types of sedation dentistry. This will come in handy if you need to undergo multiple procedures or if you are experiencing any level of dental anxiety (fear of the dentist). It is also good for folks who tend to fidget or have an easily triggered gag reflex.
Here are some of our sedation options:
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide, aka laughing gas, is a milder form sedation that allows the patient to feel more at ease. It is delivered through an unobtrusive mask and acts as a numbing agent. This is perfect for patients who just need a little something to help them relax.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation goes a little deeper that laughing gas. Our patients simply take a pill about an hour before they are scheduled to start. Similar to nitrous oxide, this method helps the patient let go of their fear. This treatment also works well for patients who have that gag reflex we were talking about.
IV Sedation
IV sedation takes it even further. We are proud that we can offer this special service at New Albany Implants. This sedation method is ideal for patients who have a paralyzing fear of the dentist or for those with special needs.
We also use IV sedation on patients in order to complete several procedures in visit.
