This is damage caused by other dental products. Teeth whitening products are especially to blame for sensitive teeth. Hard bristle toothbrushes or brushing too hard with a normal toothbrush are both cause for sensitive teeth.
Receding gums, cracked teeth, age, and bruxism (grinding teeth) are all natural causes for sensitive teeth. These aren’t necessarily things that you are in control of, but the damage happens all the same.
Some damage to your teeth comes from neglect. Gum disease, tooth decay, and plaque build-up are also causes of tooth sensitivity.
