Care Credit Explained

We know the thought of the cost of Dental Implants can be petrifying. That’s why we offer many options for payment. Among those options is CareCredit.

Complex dental work is not always completely covered by a dental insurance policy. If it is covered, there may be a deductible to be met and a large co-pay. Many people avoid having necessary dental work done because of the inability to pay for a procedure. We know how important your smile and the ability to chew is. Accepting CareCredit is one way to help our patients achieve the smile of their dreams and improve the overall health of their mouth and body.

So, what is Care Credit?

CareCredit is a credit card issued by GE Capital specifically for use in medical procedures. CareCredit can be used for a variety of procedures including dental work. It is important to realize that CareCredit is not an insurance policy. It is a way to help you pay out-of-pocket expenses without breaking your bank account. Special financing is offered so you can choose the best option for you.

What are the special financing terms?

While CareCredit offers a number of special financing terms it is important to know that not all health care providers offer all financing plans. Please call our office to inquire about our payment plan offerings.

CareCredit offers no interest financing if paid in full within 6, 12, 18, or 24 months on purchases of $200 or more when payment is made with your CareCredit card account. We would like to remind you that interest will begin to accrue from the moment of purchase if it is not paid in full by the end of the special financing term. Any purchases which qualify for the 24 month interest free program have a fixed monthly payment required based on payment in full over 24 months.

Special fixed interest rates are also offered. An interest rate of 14.9% is offered until paid in full. This payment plan also requires a fixed payment plan.

How do I qualify?

CareCredit is granted based on information gained from a consumer credit report. Applying is easy and we will help you gain the credit you need. In order to apply you will need your driver’s license number, Social Security number, net monthly income, and the estimated amount of the procedure.
