The Two-Steps To A Healthier Smile

We aren’t lying when we say that we make it easy to take back your life following tooth loss as an adult. Getting implants is really just a two step process.

At New Albany Implants, we handle the entire procedure in-house, which saves you time, not to mention additional costs and unnecessary anxiety that outsourcing part of your dental care would cause.

Step #1

As you can imagine, it all starts with the dental implant itself.

Our Implants are made of titanium and they are engineered to mimic the size and function of a natural tooth root. The first step is for the implant to be surgically inserted and then allowed to fuse with your bone. Implants are basically screwed into your jaw, where they are allowed to heal and bond to the bone over a few months before they are fully restored, which brings us to the next step: restoration.

Step #1.5

Don’t worry, you won’t have to go “toothless” after the first step. With us, you will NEVER have to leave our office without teeth. Seriously! So, in actuality there is a half-step worth mentioning. In our office dental implants are all restored with a temporary crown or bridge on the very same day they are placed.

Step #2

After the necessary healing has happened you’ll just come back to have your permanent crown or bridge attached to your implant. Then, your smile will be as good as new!

Our dental implants are comfortable and fully functional because they distribute force just like your natural teeth would. You can start eating the foods you love again.

The best part is that this is a permanent solution. The implants we use are built to last a lifetime! But you will have to give them the same attention as you would give to real teeth (brushing, flossing, and so forth).

Find Out More!

If you like what you have heard in today’s post, we will need to move forward and see if dental implants are the right solution for you. When you come in for your consultation, we’ll perform a comprehensive exam that gives us a detailed glimpse of your teeth and bone so that we can plot out your treatment. Then, we’ll get started, if you are a good candidate.
