Today I want to tell you about a patient named Ron (No, not me, a different Ron!)
Ron had a bridge, but the bridge ultimately failed. A bridge is an oral appliance supported by two teeth adjacent to the missing tooth. A solid crown literally “bridges” the gap caused by the missing tooth. Unfortunately, in Ron’s case, one of the teeth supporting the bridge failed. The bridge and supporting tooth can to come out.
